District Heating
Decades of experience
Adams has worked closely with the district heating industry since 1962, and our company continues to be a global leader in the supply of valves for steam, hot water and chilled water. Our decades of experience in working with the district energy market enable Adams to provide mature valve engineering for an entire range of applications. Valve solutions for shut-off and control with flanged or weld-end connections in ASME pressure classes from 150 to 900, have been proven over many years of service.
The extensive experience of decades enables us to provide tried-and-tested valve solutions for shutting off, controlling flow and protecting pumps. Our patented triple off-set metal-to-metal sealing system, which provides absolute tight shut-off for temperatures up to 950 deg. F, is particularly suited for use in steam isolation. We also provide valves for the district heating industry that are equipped with an individually adjustable damping system. We thus guarantee optimal control over the development of pressure surges, particularly in pipes with large diameters.
